XOmail
is a COTS product tailored to information
handling and transfer in modern C4ISR solutions.
It has been developed in close cooperation
with military customers in several countries.
XOmail has been selected by several European
NATO member countries for their nation wide
messaging services.
At the core
of the product is the implementation of
the widely accepted NATO STANAG 4406 messaging
standard. Thales not only implements the
standard, but also contributes to the evolvement,
e.g. of new tactical annexes focusing on
optimal use of bandwidth.
The development
of the core functionality takes place in
Thales' facilities in Trondheim, Norway.
The team has 20 years of experience with
military messaging through several generations
of products evolving from the initial
"MMHS
2000" product of the 1990'es.
