The XOmail COTS product offers a built-in ACP127 Gateway to allow automatic flow to/from traditional teleprinter networks. One such network is NATO's NSU TARE. Messages are converted to/from STANAG 4406 format, thereby allowing automatic flow to/from any user.

The ACP127 Gateway performs functions such as:

• Logging of traffic into Channel List logs

• Automated procedures for handling a number of Abbreviated SVCs ("CC", "RZ", "QRV/QRT/ZKJ", "ZFX/ZFQ", "ZAN", etc.)

• Automatic Sectioning of long messages

• AIG/XMT permitted in FL2 to reduce typing on teleprinters

• Syntax checking and Security Label conversions

• Various surveillance functions

Addressing is according to ACP121 using either RI, PLAD or both.

The ACP 127 Gateway complies with the “ACP 127 NATO SUPP-3 (A)” and “STANAG-4406 Annex D” standards.
